"i used the file and it worked great....but instead of updating the firmware it downdated it if you get my meaning, the recorder came from a compaq PC,the model of the machine i cant remmber, Compaq were most unhelpful in this area .So i came here and tryed your File, the drive was completly buggered it wouid have been more useful as a door stop.(acted like a crazy popup t

oaster trying to write to pre recorded disks and fireing them across the room.) As a Compaq recorder its shipped as a 4x4x32 but after downdating the drive it became an 8x speed with all bugs

gone churning out perfect CDs every time....great! i used the drive for a good while (nearly 3 months)before finding the correct firmware (HP logo)and is now a 4x speed again....mmmm I might download another copy your file."

Driver for lg cd-rw ced-8080B for 98 works well on XP from dell.

the driver is D45UXR03.

when on dell search for ced-8080B."
