"Finally I managed to get things under working condition under XP + Jade 2!

Bit tricky. My XP recognized SCSI card (53c810) and installed own drivers for it. If you install Vista Scan 3.55 after that, it won't work! First uninstall that SCSI device, w/o rebooting install Vista Scan, after that update for winXP, then reboot, XP once again recognizes same SCSI card, let i

t install drivers again, and for recognized Linohell Office 2 choose Umax Astra 1200 from XP's own driver database. Now when you open select source from image acquisition program you have two scanners, Vista scan from Umax and XP's Umax Astra through WIA. both work, although WIA doesn't recognize TA on the scanner.
