"Driver really installed and worked and solved my problem of not having a driver for the UMAX 2100U in Win XP. There was a little bit of problem during installation, in that we had to delete/uninstall the old driver first and had to reboot a couple of times to get it to pick up things. Although the instructions said to install vistascan first and then the XP update, the a

"I am sure that the driver is ok but the problem I've had is the hardware is knacked!! (Not used by the owner from new for 3 years! So no warranty or come back to supplier)"

"Your site says this is suppose to work with my scanner. Well it doesn't and I don't feel it's right that you offer things,that don't work. I feel you need to check out your products you offer. I have been trying to make this work for a week now. AND IT STILL DOESN"T WORK!!!!!!

"This software tells me I don't have a UMAX scanner. It is not able to find USB devices, or at least not this Astra 2100U scanner. The scanner does work with other software."

"It worked quite well. Better than that, I didn't have to install all the extra garbage that came with the CD-ROM for Windows 98, just the Vista driver I needed for Windows, along with the patch to make it work with Windows XP."

"install the vs355u.exe first.

this is better than paying a bunch of bucks for a driver update to Umax, it`s sotfware policies are not good. iŽll buy an umax device no more"
