"Did exactly what I needed to hook up my vid cam as a Web cam (still have to record a tape or it will time out, but that is a Sony issue, not a driver issue)."

"I installed the driver and it installes good, but, unfortunately, it didn't recognize the video camera that it should have recognized.

I wish that I can get the original driver thats included in the cd that came with the Sony Video Camera. Thank you."

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
