"The file downloaded and unzipped no problem

However when i tried it to get my samsung 80 usb2 plugin it doesnt work. The plugin icon appears and it reads the device name e.g. samsung hard drive plugin

But thats it no directory opens and the plugin usb does not appear in the my computer directory.

I lost the ability to plug in usb2 hard drives after upgrading from

"Windows XP reverted it back to XPSP2's driver, after slow operation & selecting "Update driver". My computer seems to prefer the built in ATA capabilities in XPSP2!"

"If you format a Pavilion 4458, you MUST update the BIOS and Video drivers before the USB ports will work. You also must install win2000."

"I'm sure the driver is a good one but it didn't solve my problem. I'm running Win2KSP3 and my onboard USB suddenly refused to function so all external drives were being reported as "unknown devices". Reinstalling hasn't helped."
