"Well.. I just wanna tell you that I after some more work on the driver installation I found out that SoundMax WDM driver was working. This I find strange though, since both Driver guide toolkit and Everest (Used to be Aida32) told me that I needed the SIS driver. Oh well.. Atleast I got it working. :)

"Tried to install this driver by running the setup. That didn't work. Got some error message saying -xxxxxxxx where X is a bunch of numbers.

Then I tried the old fashion way by updating the driver on my own and browsed to the folder claiming to contain the right driver. That didn't work. So I'm off to see if I can find some alternative.

"POSSIBLY WORK ON CUSTOM ASUS BOARDS (example: sony pcv series)If by chance you have got your hand on service pack 2 and then install the factory drivers well this might work for SOME various models. remember Asus made a lot if different main board that were in fact custom."
