"Found the original driver later, turned out to be the same, which had worked well - it was the scanner that had died! C'est la vie."

"genius fu624d - win xp - driver worked - had trouble with the 36bit colour option and had trouble over 900 dpi altho this could be photoshop"

"Driver installed but didn't work. had to reinstall driver from control panel, and point it at the twain directory under windows it then found it and installed it properly."
