ke myself) - the driver works fine and if you set the "Netwaiting" configuration to automatically terminate your internet connection (in stead of 'Modem on Hold' or 'Let me decide') it will work fine and not lock up the software. PhoneTray.com has a compatible caller ID\Modem on Hold software that is compatible but it isn't freeware."

"This driver flat out just didn't work. I'm not necessarily saying the cause was a bad driver. I COULD have bad hardware, but the modem was installed OK before I reloaded the OS per the Device Manager."

"It finally loaded. It's *not* a standard install. It required a number of twists and turns to get it going. I wish these effin geeks would get their acts together and *standardize* their driver installation requirements.

Otherwise, other drivers I've downloaded from this site have loaded and worked well."

"I downloaded this for a friend who asked for a CNXT V92 driver [of around July 2003 vintage]. I installed it for her but it does not appear to be the correct one and I am looking again at the drivers you have listed."

In my experience with several, WinModems (Connex) have been way less capable than modems with their own processor.

In my area, modem access is mostly obsolete by wireless if not Ethernet.
