"it was very hard to download due to "pushing" advertising,which in turn frustrate us instead of persuading us of getting their product,they keep interrupting us and taking us where we do not want to go.So far I haven't been able to use it so I'am still trying to download it,agsain,but I still have to put up with this annoying divert to other products,but the spec

"Worked a charm here. Simply dropped it into System32/Drivers and replaced the existing .sys file. CDRW now burns disks."

"I wouldn't exactly call this a "driver" - it's a SYS file (I think one needs a INF file for starters). I tried some file swapping hi-jinx in order to parse the data into the correct format using device manager. It's nonsense really - the CD rom is humped and that's all there is to it! I think I saw some similarly derogatory remarks on the review page in passing -

"Waste of time. This isn't a site for noobs. Don't bother downloading this file as this wacko just pulled a windows sys file and called it a CDROM driver."

"CDROM.SYS IS NOT ANYTHING WOT CAN'T BE GOT OFF ANY CDROM INSTALL FLOPPY, OR ANY WINDOZE INSTALL CD. THIS DOESN'T MAKE A BIT OF SENSE. WHY BOTHER?"
