"The problem is in hardware.

NetMos PCI Parallel Port Card doesn't work on older PC such as Duron, Pentium III. I think PCI bus verion is important.

On PCI 2.0 bus systems computer hangs randomly"

"There was only an UNinstall tool in the download. What use is that? I needed to INSTALL the driver."
