"It worked! I lost this file before for some odd reason, and now, after downloading this, I can adjust my volume! Thanks!! This is for the advanced volume control. It would be nice if I can also have it in my task bar."

"It isnt a monitor driver, it is for windows sound manager (I.E. the volume control of the speakers, mic,cd player ect.)"

"I was given this info. and file description by HP as Hardware Manager was asking for this to be installed every time I open my PC

I think I need to get back to Hewlett Packard because it is still asking the same thing so I don't really know what I am supposed to do.

I will get back to your site when I get some new advice from HP"

"All this file does is open up the volume controls on your computer...Who uploaded this idiotic thing anyway? Looks like they even did it twice. Well, off to panda antivirus to check and see if it was harmful... ...Not Happy!

And where does HP get off abandoning such an expensive item only a short time after they stopped making it?! Does not create a happy or especially

"This driver is the same one that Hp has on their website, because of this I recommend going to HP and getting the driver from them, it's always best to check with the manufacturer first."

"A royal POS!!! Why does HP use it??? It constantly goes bad in the toolbar and evaporates from the system.

You can only find it here as HP will not help you.

Thank goodness we can get it here and load it as AN ICON ON THE DESKTOP!!!

That is the ONLY way most people I have talked to have been able to use it."

"Don't bother downloading this "file"...its no driver, its just the windows xp version of the volume controler program and will not make your soundcard work!!"

"Mine was corrupt and not functional. I overwrote the old executable with this one and everything is working properly. Install into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32"
