"Had to rebuild a HP Pavilion 533w desktop after a disk crash for a client, but they couldn't find the "recovery disks"...So I started the rebuild from scratch, HP's site had all the drivers but the sound drivers , which brought me to this place , found the driver listed for the machine , installed it and had it up and running in no time...."

"I am so very pleased with this driver. I lost everything in a hardrive about 6 months ago, and I couldn't seem to find the specific driver necessary to play sound. I would get very odd problems, such as my computer rebooting when I played any sound file while online (using a purchased sound card Sound Blaster Audigy PCI). After long last, I can play games and listen to mus

"www.hp.com doesn't even have sound drivers listed for this model tower (Pavilion 533w). Big help...anyways, these drivers did work after a fresh reload when the client's recovery CD's "magically" ran away. ** cough cough **
