"I could not get this driver to work and I guess I have identified the AMR modem incorrectly although the only identification on it is a sticker with MR2800-W SEC"

"Wicked! thanks! Installed with XpPro and no problems whatsoever. It goes through an uninstall process first of all and then restarts the computer and reloads the driver automatically. thanks, you're a diamond for this one - been hunting for days!"

"Worked with the CNR2800 modem with Packard Bell PC running XP.

As workshop guy says, the installer says "turn off PC to uninstall modem". Turned off PC, removed modem card and plugged it back in. When I turned the PC back on the driver and card were working fine.
