"Used for a Zio smartmedia card reader which is about 5 years old. Downloaded files and let WinXP start the driver install and just pointed the installation into the download folder. WinXP found the driver and installed. Card reader works great."

"I filled another form with negative info. When I opened the PDF file and unpluged the device, installed the software, rebooted, connected the USB cameranate then all worked as originally expected. And that is GREAT!!"

"The driver works very well for the ZIO! USB Smart Card Reader on my Windows XP system. Make sure to extract the files before trying to browse to them. If you are trying to browse and the folder location isn't visible, then you have not extracted the files first. Excellent job, there was no reboot required post installation and the reader worked excellent. I was not pro

"This worked with my Swift CARDport smartmedia card reader, the original manufacturer (www.Chase-at.com) has disappeared along with the drivers.

But thankfully this worked for me on winXP.

"This driver was a lifesaver, it worked on my Windows 2000 professional system at work and also on my XP system at home. When I have tried to save to it after connecting the reader without a reboot, I have had "Windows hangs"; I'm not sure if it's my system or this driver but when I make sure to reboot before connecting the reader I never have any problems."

"I used the win2k add hardware wiz, pointed to the unpacked files, no surprises. the USB drive detect automatically fired up and mapped the drive and i was able to see my gifs on the smart media card. can't answer the stable but will be checking for bugs off and on."
