"Tried using this old camera as a web cam for messenger, probably best to install driver before plugging in usb cable,

Eventually got it to work, but any attempt to alter it's settings in messenger, caused xp to crash in the end I had to restore to an earlier point. I suspect that with some perseverance it would work."

"After executing the file (242.exe), Windows XP reported back RNBOVDD.DLL. An installable Vitual Device Driver failed Dll initialisation. Choose Close to terminate the application.

I've ignored the error and continued. Let's see how it works...."
