"Finally managed to get a NIC and driver combo to work with this computer! This was the third card I tried and the driver installed perfectly and the NIC is connected to the router and accessing the Internet. Thanks! (Old Acer computer with fresh install of Win98SE)"

"Driver partially installed several times, but never worked. For Windows 98, default driver from MS is working, which is more than I could say for any updated drivers."

"I have tried to ownload this driver to support my compaq netelligent network car and it didn't work at all. I was then diverte to look for this driver at HP-Compaq site, where I have downloade it to my PC an extracte it to A drive 3.5", and since then everything is working properly!!!

"Driver is fine, just what I wanted. Site however makes me feel like I've stumbled into a back street alley on the wrong side of town and had to bargain with a rather suspicious looking dealer to purchase his wares. Be nicer if you werent trying to flog the cheap tat on the side. I understand that you have to make a buck but the seedy adverts are pretty tacky."

"Excelent on Win95, but, had alot of probs on Win98SE. Keep in mind that some Operating Systems afect the BIOS on some PC's, which was the case on my Win98SE. Might not work right if your BIOS is like way old, like in my case. If you can, try to update your BIOS and it might work."

"After a lot of faffing about at the Compaq download centre, I gave up as they don't have a driver which supports this card (a re-labelled Intel NIC) But this little baby does the trick for NT 4.0. Cheers!"
