"For Windows 7 you need to run the exe file by right clicking and then clicking on troubleshoot compatibility and then troubleshoot program, select the XP option and start program."

"This driver worked great for my Broadcom BCM94212/u modem. The exe file self extracts to the Dell folder and then automatically starts the install."

"Downloaded & Installed in Dell Precision 330 running Win2K, but modem not responding to diagnostics test, ie. didn't work, BUT then ran driver update, searched Microsoft Windows Update, accepted the download & install of Broadcom driver ver 3.5.25.0 (8/27/03) and it seems to be working. So Thanks for the starter file"

"Modem removed from new (2004) Dell Dimension PC and installed on Asus mb w/amd 800mhz duron & win2k. Setup program went fine and modem worked first time."

"This 'kit' is intended for Win2K and WinXP; Win98 (and presumably WinME) users must look elsewhere.

Win2K installation works smoothly; just make sure to close/terminate any 'new hardware found' dialogues before proceeding with the installation.

I presently have no practical experience with the 'kit', but Dell tend to deliver the goods, so I presume it will be OK.&q
