"The driver for the 4039 10 plus for the XP os is not included; installed the 4079 color printer driver; it worked but the printout is not as clear as the regular print driver.

"

"I was looking for the drivers for a 4039 10plus, which are included in this download. Unfortunately Lexmark have not released a Win2k/XP version of these drivers, so I was unable to use them. However, they worked great on my Win98 box!"

"I dont' think this is the driver it claims. Read 'reakme.1st'(first couple lines):

The install dumps all the PPD drives to the desktop regardless where you download it. I'm not happy with that. A subfolder would have been nice in

the download folder or even on the desktop. Use WinZip (or whatever) to extract to a specific folder helps.

On first test I'm getting garbage for text areas probably because I haven't changed the printer to PS emulation. An easy fix if I were interested. I'll keep looking for more exact driver."
