"1st I've tried to install it on 'advanced' system. It conflicted with uninstalled (!) Symantec AV, even after the registry clean from Sym's trails.

Then I've approached with the simple (even Russian) XP wich lives at another partition. ExcelleNT!

"This driver for Mustek ScanExpress 12000P worked without any faults on my computer. It worked slowly, however, and the scanning proceeded with jerks. I could not decide if this was caused by this driver or my computer, which is a Pentium III machine at 600 MHz. It is heavily loaded with programs. "It says 'installation media corrupt' and didn't install at all!

Mustek requests the first two digits of scanner serial number which this driver doesn't mention at all. Maybe this is the fault

"I'm having a little problems with the install when i changed to win 2000, but is an old scanner and a new is on it´s way now. But with a little time and efforts it will work."
