"driver crashed WinXP which kept on rebooting on its own. Restored to yesterday, and VistaScan application remained and worked with XP "cameras & scanner wizard"."

"Work ok without XP SP2, after updating you should delet umaxdrv.sys, to get the sistem to work."

"Did not solve the problem in win98SE. The system is still asking to enter in safety mode (a common problem that the umax scanner generates)"
