"I Saved this driver to a temp file, burned it to a CD and unzipped it to a temp file on the computer I was repairing. It Worked perfectly!

"It was very hard to find a driver for my modem.

My modem model is : LITE-ON D-1156I#/A1A, impossible to find anything.

The chip is : AGERE SV98PL-T00, thisway did I found the driver.

This file contains the drivers for all Windows OSs but I only tried it with 98 SE. And it works, I'm very happy today."

"I tried the generic Agere driver (modem830.exe) install, but without success. This driver was the right one for the modem in question and works just fine."

"Good driver but was hard to transport from the machine that I used to downloaded the driver to in order to get the driver to the the machine that was going to be using that driver. Any sugestions??"

"I tried this and got a blue screen of death and

It did not find a modem. I have had little luck with

winmodems and I rip them out and trash them at the first sign of trouble!
