This driver worked for me using Windows XP. While it does not work from the desktop it has worked using the following procedure.

Procedure for OCR scanning

Click the following:

START

PROGRAMS

PLUSTEK SCANNER

TYPEREADER OCR

CONTROL "Q" to scan the image

F9 to recognize

SAVE AS

Name the file and change file type
