"Sweetness. Test page printed beautifully. There was a little glitch on the install because one of the files was in the wrong directory and it asked me for the Windows XP CD-Rom (which I don't have). But I searched for the file and found it among the zipped files. After that . . . silky smooth."

"I have yet to find a driver suitable for XP for the Compaq LJ300 Printer. This driver works the same as the driver that is loaded into XP which still does not work correctly. Printer prints 3 shadows under everything.... Connect printer to windows 98 and it works great. Please let me know if you h"

"unpacked file with WinRAR, to find only DLL's (no .exe or unpacker) this download was simply not successful (though neither was the driver download from Compaq's website.) maybe good if you WISH to implant foreign DLL's into registry. maybe it's my fault."

"Too much trouble to download software to unzip the arcane .rar file

I got what I wanted from someone else who was smart enough to inform all that the Compaq IJ300 is simply a Lexmark Z11"
