"For harddisk >128 GB the Bios alone didn't help. Installing "Intel Application Accelerator" finally solved the Big-Harddisk-Problem under WinXP."

"This is for th MSI MS-6399 board that was only sold OEM to Medion. MSI doesn't offer support for it.. Medion called the MoBo the Medion 3000.. This is the latest and probably last update as of writting (Dec 2004.) . VERY hard to find!!! One quirk in this BIOS (for me anyway.) . If left to Auto detect the PRI-Master hard drive it always defaults to CHS mode which is wrong.

Set the PRI-Master to manual and to LBA mode and all is well with the world again.. (You might have to reformat the drive if you did it in CHS mode)"
