ssue is unknown at this time. Resolution - According to Cirrus Logic that particular color depth is not obtainable with the GD5430 regardless of any increase in video memory. A CL-GD5434 chip set will support 800x600xTrue Color (24 Bit) with 2MB of video memory. Escalate the call for a motherboard exchange."

"You dont say what kind (software)of version it is...? Mine says cirrus Logic 5430/40 PCI CL-GD5430 Rev 0 2MB software version 4.0 (drivers) 4.10.1650 4.10.1633 it kind of works, kind of locks up if I go past 256 colors It this its limit? 256k colors? Explorer locks up if I try to run it at 16 bit high color????"
