"I was trying to install Linux on an old system but didn't boot to the menu screen. It was running the P5VX-BE 1.4 version prior to the flash. After I flashed it using the 1.4h version, the Linux CD booted normally. :)

My only complaint was that the flashing tool wasn't included with the bios update. Minor issue though."
