"It was a little advanced for a novice user. Just remember to put the .DLL'S into the %WINDOWS%\SYSTEMROOT\ directory."

"I sold the scanner to another person which still had no problem install the scanner to their machine as well. This other comment is here to reassure that it will have no problem running in windows xp. I do suggest to run the file cleaner that is located on the visioneer website and restarting before installing this driver file."

"Installed the driver. Got the activity green light to come on..system says "scanner warming up" with countdown timer, then it freezes :("

"If you still have problems with this scanner after you install the new driver,

make sure to unplug the power supply from the scanner and then plug it back in."

"This is a driver for a 6 or 7 year old Visioneer scanner. The scanner was originally used with a Windows 98 SE operating system. I downloaded the Windows XP driver after updating to a Windows XP PC. I still can't get the scanner to work; this may be due more to the fact that the scanner is old."

"follow the directions supplied....i install my paperport disc following directions unplug scanner, then install the drivers supplied here then went back and went to computer ,properties and then hardware devices..find scanner then properties and reinstall driver..then install disc again ,it will take another driver why?? kinda hard to explain step by step..but scanner wo
