"If you install this driver make sure your AC'97 is turned ON in the BIOS.

If you placed extra memory and the sound suddenly goes very bad or not there at all i recommend you contact the manufacturer of this board (ASUS) it's adress is on the CDROM you get with this board, then it could be a "dropout" or production error."
