"Saved my bacon! Works great in 2000 Pro. Simply chose update driver in device manager and pointed to the unzipped driver."

"I have seen the phonomenom described by Bill when Windows XP (which should be able to do without a driver) is confused that a wrong driver such as a Windows 98 or 2000 driver can "jump-start" the recognition in XP but in this case it didnot work for me."

"although XP is not supposed to be need a driver for this device, it would not load for me, so I came here to try to get a device driver and downloaded one. it did not work for me even with the driver. however, after a short period of time XP did in fact recognize it and allowed me to use the device. can't explain what happened, but it did give me a little heartburn.&quo

"Driver installed, but with a warning from the OS that it had not passed compatibility testing (Windows 2003 Server R2). Installed anyway. Driver did not work and the OS complained. Device automatically disabled."
