"I tried and tried but couldn't get the scanner recognised. Driver install seemed to go OK but returned an error "Unable to connect to scanner".

I managed to get the scanner working with a previous notebook - though it was a mighty fiddle and sometimes needed a restart before it recognised it. Pity, the Artec is a reasonable scanner. Given up now and bought a n

"Very good software. I bought several of the Artec scanners and needed software to install on a computer while in the field. The link here allowed me to download the file and have the scanner up and running in a short while. An excellent site for finding drivers. I have used it as a prime source for drivers for years."

"Good driver, used it before since I lost the CD that came with the scanner.

Integrates fine into Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8, Adobe Page Maker 6.5 and Serif Page Plus X2.

I always come back to DriverGuide.com and they've usually got what I need."

"This driver page is deceptive. It shows an "uploaded" date, but the upload was merely adding a link to an external download link. Unfortunately, the external download link doesn't work (I think artecusa.com is dead).

I saw the other comments and decided to give it a try anyhow. My advise... If you're going register on this site just to get this driver, DON
