"i bought this usb2.0 device at a computer surplus store for less than 20 bucks, but it had no drivers. Windows wouldn't recognize the card with its native drivers. This was the only place that had drivers and it solved my problems."

"Try to install a 3 USB + 2 Firewire PCI Combo card on Windows 2003 and missing the CD. USB works but not the firewire but under Device Manager all got he "Yellow ?" including the USB"

"Uninstall MS version drivers first, DO NOT RESTART as prompted, Reinstall from device manager, reboot ONLY after all drivers get installed!!

"I got the card specifically for an iPod mini and neither this driver nor the native XP driver configures the hardware properly for the iPod - totally useless for this purpose. It seems to be OK with other devices though (mice, external drives, etc.). I'll be looking for a different card/chipset."

"Though I've seen it with all versions of the 5271 drivers I've tried so far, this ALi USB 2.0 PCI card can't handle flash card readers very well... it often makes the card reader go code 10 or reboots (triple-fault, not even a BSOD) the system when you plug in the reader (tried 2 different readers and both showed this, also tried the readers on a machine with Intel USB 2.0
