"I installed according to the instructions with the download and the scanner works perfectly with Win 2000 Professional. It works with Omnipage Pro 14 and set-up was easy."

"The 3 drivers I downloaded for visioneer 7600 turned out to be the same as the one I got several years ago and didn't work at least under Win XP SP2. My original one worked under xp sp1"

"Described as all the drivers you need, but it isn't. I had already downloaded these drivers for free without having to register for anything or receive information from some advertiser. I still need additional files including pmxscan to correct the problem with the scanner."

"The driver would not work with my Windows XP Professional OS. Tried uninstalling & reinstalling in System32 and in System. Scanner would not connect & Hardware not recognized. Any suggestions?"

"In the read me file with the down load,their is a problem. They say to copy the vizPnP directory to Windows\inf, which is a hidden folder by the way, but you don't need to do that! (if upgrading to winXP if those files are all ready in that folder from win98, that is only if the software was present before XP upgrade,also paper port 6.1 software will not run on winXP) The

vizPnp files should be copied in to the windows\system32 folder and then it worked fine. Maybe it was a type-O error on the originators part. The fist half of the read me file was OK! To make a long story short,with his help and a little know how my One Touch 7600 USB scanner works fine in Windows XP."

"Had to use another driver in tandem with this one to get all the files I needed to make it work. Use "7600_USB_XP" found on the visioneer driver page and this driver to get a perfect install. You'll have to have a PaperPort version 7.0 for XP or above to make it save your images."
