"This driver works very well with XP Pro SP1, but refuses to install with XP Home SP2. Time to get a new drive, I suspect."

"The installation went bad (win xp home) with errors and had to be aborted. I was sure I was out of luck -- but rebooted and tried again -- which worked by god!!! Which was unexpected - I had given up months ago on trying to get this drive to work with xp... But tried again just cause I was here... Thanks!"
