"SiS900 base fast ethernet can be confusing after system installation, that means, the device seems to be OK in device manager, but does not work. My experience was, to remove device driver and reinstall it (not only once, and using different drivers, for example this one), using this driver too, until the device works. Not a nice method, but useful.
