"control panel displays new version OK but It does not recognize linux growISO burned dvds . Maybe It very old. works OK with CDs"

"Couldn't get the driver to download.Once I verified where to downlod it and the 3 letters.Everything stopped.None of the other sites that I tried,and got the driver,did this.

"This so-called driver doesn't load, work or do anything but give my system problems and shuts it down. Hope someone can help all us poor fools who have the honor of owning this useless doorstop of a device."

"BTW, this is a firmware, not a driver, and that means that you have to flash your hardware under DOS... if you do not know a lot on flashing, try to learn some about it before doing it, because you can damage your hardware. This firmware helped me with a 'Data error (cyclic redundancy check)' message under Windows XP, while playing DVDs."

"Hey, it worked!!! I could finally see the other half of the Silence of the Lambs II DVD... LOL! If any of you cannot download the file, try using the above link with a download manager (Net Vampire Pro works pretty good for me)."
