"Well I just got off the phone with the technical support folks at Linksys, and if you are running windows 2000 with this card, you are screwed. There are no windows 2000 drivers available for this device. I was told to just have the "search for device driver" point to the win2000 directory, and let windows 2000 do its thing, but that doesn't work. I was then told that this

"I agree, if you are running Win2K, this card will not work for you. After spending 4+ hours trying to install a "plug and Play" NIC that is "ready to run with Windows 2000", I'm getting my money back."

"Im trying to install the pcm100 at WIN XP. Ive heard that it might work iwth the WIN2K driver, but i failed to find it. Solutions would be much appreciated"

"I got the driver working. The problem was with my BIOS. It had some hardware conflict with my Sound Blaster settings. This was documented on the Microsoft site. Thanks,"

"This claims to have the Win2000 Driver, bnut it does not work. When the self-extracting .exe is run, it creates, among others, a Win2000 directory. This directory has nothing but a readme.txt file which details how to install the driver. I tried installing this on my Compaq Presario 1200-XL125.
