"i installed this driver in a hp pavilion 8693c with win2000 pro it worked great the first time i tried it

it installed everything but the modem but i don't use the modem anyway i'm on dsl with network

i appreciate your service very much"

Had a little trouble at first installing, but Worked out great for my sound,but not modem? Surprised it even worked at all, being I'm using Me o/s, I only needed to get sound working anyhow(already had a diff. modem) Thanks alot, was about to give up hope!!!

"Downloaded for soundcard/modem/media device in a Win2Kpro sys. Install went smooth with exception that drivers for sound and media/gameport seemed to have to be installed first in order for modem to be detected as modem.??? Maybe just me being up too long :) Once detected, works just fine!"

"Out all the audio drivers for a Pavilion 4445, this the only one that worked for me. I used winrar to uncompress and selected riptide.inf to load all my lost files. A previous user claimed the file to be corrupted, but I found no such problem using winrar."
