"Well, as to the most drivers from HP, I gave an "average", however,

in comparison to other brands (remember the shuttle 48k Sound card

with DOS-based windows install) is "good".

I use the driver on an ancient Win98 SE System.

I found that sdi.dll must be available (see taskmanager)

otherwise you will have problems to find any source

"The download was fine but when I went to do the setup, I got error messages in Dutch. I translated them and found that it was telling me Fatal Error."

"Another blow from HP, it seems their products only work on a HP computer, with original configurations.Having brought a new computer, running windows ME, it now seems I will have to buy a new scanner also."

"It didn't. The flipping scanner goes on and off whenever, for no apparent reason. This scanner is a pain."
