"Driver is OK, except the hp9100 is a burner that sometimes makes CDRs unreadable on other systems.

Tricky to stop it happening."

"Hi Everyone, Well the evil companies of Micro$ucs and HP/Compaq!? Did us a favor this time (finally) and when I installed the HP writer+ 8200 I didn't have to install the drivers, it installed them automatically (on W2K). Then I installed Adaptec v 4.0 and I was on my way to burn CD's and all. So you see, this story had a happy ending. Good luck to y'all (from Texas). "O

"Please read this i need your help. I barely recieved my cd burner hp cd-writer 9300 series . and i had it for 1 week. And now it seems my older cousin deleted something from it and now i need to reinstall the software! now my cd burner nor disk drive want to work. please if you find the software can you email me? plz. and thank you.
