"This is an excellent driver for the older Vivitar Vivicam 5.

I installed it on a Win2000 Professional, and a Win98se system.

Leaving the camera unconnected to the PC, I went to "add programs"

and clicked on the file "vivicam5.exe" and in both cases it installed and prompted to restart the computer. After doing so, I attached the Vivicam5 camera

via its USB cord and the system recognized it as "new hardware" and proceeded to load all the necessary drivers. I use Photoshop 5.0 and its "import" command brought up the Vivicam twain driver and performed flawlessly.
