":Had to open the webcam.

:Chipset was marked as Sonix SN9C101

:tried many drivers of that name but all were incompatible with XPSP2.

- downloaded drivertoolkit from 'driverguide.com'

- the device was detected as "CIF USB Camera 2110A"

- searched & was brought to this file

- IT WORKED!!

"Install a bit tricky. Did not work on first attempt - files are installed on hard disk in 'Options' directory. Install worked using Windows 'Update Driver' process pointing to the 'Options' directory. Once installed works perfectly."

"Pile of Pants! Can't get the thing to work as the class installer prevents it from being loaded properly. The uninstaller does not clear everything as the camera is (partially recognised) after uninstall."
