"Notebook is Compaq Armada 1500C with MicroXP installed. Installation is perfect, no problems. Only use it now for a few hours, so stability is unknown, but I don't expect any problems, for average home/office use.

(btw. 1500C runs faster on MicroXP (with 96 Mb memory!!!) than on 98SE; only problem left is good cardbus driver; 98SE says it's a 'Texas Instruments PCI-1225

Work around was to install 2000 then upgraded to XP Professnal, worked fine."

"I had to drop the acceleration to the second lowest notch to get the colors right ... the directX acceleration and higher levels caused problems."
