"Was able to get my old scanner (which was bundled on a computer with ME OS) up and running on XP with this. It did the job but i have now got an Lexmark All in One."

"There is hope!

After many, many attempts, I've got a Mustek driver working with XP. Not quite sure, but I think it was this one I'd downloaded (I'd tried lots!) None of the instructions worked, but I finally went to control panel/system/hardware/device manager, found the "imaging devices" section (with a yellow exclaation mark) and got it to search for drivers

from there. It found three (all in c;\widows\inf) two were "oem and a number" and I tried the other one (think it said Mustek 1200 CU).

I now have a Twain driver that looks and works exactly like it did on my Win98 machine!

For info: if I now go to device manager /imaging devices now and look at driver details, it says "c:\windows\system32\drivers\UsbScan.sys"
