"I installed this driver in an old computer with Win NT 4.0 with a generic 56k Voice Modem (Agere chipset). I´m not sure if this driver is the one resposible for the modem to work, but it´s working."

"This driver was listed as being for Windows 98 too. But all it does is to install an icon in the control panel, which can't even be deleted or un-installed. Furthermore, Win 98 did not install the modem at all."

"I was helping someone that had a mis-match of hardware. Pre-historic mixed with P4 Asus & Win ME. I tried several drivers that were not compatible..this one of them. The driver was not the problem."

"The better of the two drivers on offer here for the Conexant HSFi CX11252-11 chip modem but I found no connection speed improvements over the stock driver XP installs. Still, installation was easy and the speaker even works now so I'm sticking with this one."
