"I have a Dell Deminsion 8300. In the last few months, I have noticed my sound going downhill. It was having to turn the volume higher and higher to hear things. I ran several system checks and found no errors. I had read that in PCWorld that my drivers may be out of date. I could not find any updated drivers on www.dellsupport.com . So I came here, this place is a life

"The original Driver was a soundmax but when i installed one, it doesn't work, maybe a soundboard problem or similar driver that i didn't backup, so, i think is a good driver to download."

"I get "Driver not found" when downloading and running the WDM_3663.zip. I see others have had the same problem and others have not. can anyone offer up a clue as to where I may be going wrong? running XP ....
