"I started my search for this driver with the model # I56PSP-F40 as there was no manufacturer name available. I saved it to a temp file, burned it to a CD and unzipped it onto the computer I was repairing. It worked perfectly!

"I had my doubts about finding the correct driver using the fcc id # only with no manufacturer name or other information. I was pleasantly surprised that the driver was correct and that it worked. No problems at all.

"Driver installed just fine and Windows found the modem and installation was done. Unfortunately the modem was dead from a power surge and I cannot comment on stability or how well it works."
