"did a clean install on friends computer,but sound did not work,discovered audio device was by analog devices,then tracked down that it needed sound max to run properly.downloaded this driver to computer.in hardware manager,said multimedia sound device,so i clicked update driver,then located where i downloaded the driver click okay,and bingo,it worked.was sure happy about g

"too bad i couldn't find a fully functional version of ad1985 for windoes vista far digital and analog version with soundmax control panel that actully could set 5.1 speakers:( If you know an update for this driver vista compatible please mail me at inf_florin_lepadatu@yahoo.com"
