"I use the freecom external CDRW 8432 with a freecom pCMCIA card in a toshiba laptop (Tecra 8000) It is recognised in DOS but not in windows (ME) and installed but not as an IDE drive: ("Other device")

"The driver is to create a startup disk, this fails because the system does not recognise it as a startup disk and politly asks you to remove it."

"very good but instruction only reads download driver to start up disk, but you have to extract the (startup disk of the programme)onto the boot disk so you will have 10 icons in all on your boot disk

"Took me a lomg time to find this driver - for a Toshiba Options Portable CD with NiMH battery pack for small Toshiba laptops like Libreeto 100/110 CT's. Anyhoo this is it. Works fine no problems - other than my ineptitude!"
