"couldn't fairly rate this driver. it wouldn't install. apparently, the full set of files required is not detected by the setup. i can't -with clear conscience- recommend this driver."

I did find a more complete download at www.americas.creative.com/support/files/download4.asp?centric=17 try it. check the downloaded file name to see if it includes the ".exe" extension if it does not, be sure to add the ".exe" extension before attempting to execute it, so you can run

"Same problem. Error was - Setup was unable to detect the full set of files required for the Sound Blaster PCI128(Drivers Only)Web Update Program. I think this download just contains the prog for the web update and is missing the driver files. I am still needing the driver for the PCI 128 for Win ME. Any offers?"

"Same problem. Error was - Setup was unable to detect the full set of files required for the Sound Blaster PCI128(Drivers Only)Web Update Program. I think this download just contains the prog for the web update and is missing the driver files. I am still needing the driver for the PCI 128 for Win ME. Any offers?"

"Downloaded file, checked for virus (Norton) and ran it. Startup could not complete due to missing files. I tried downloading again but had the same error message. Conclusion - not all file included."
