"Everytime i get a black screen so i must change it with save start,

after that the computer works perfect for a moment, probably becasue

"Yet again despite the larger filesize this driver seems to only support win 95 and 98 - no oemsetup files present for NT. However it's relatively easy to find the NT drivers from the intel site itself - go there instead."

"A friend of mine asked for an Intel 740 graphic driver after a clean instalation of W98SE on an old machine. The version found here did the trick and the machine is working in perfect shape, even it's an "old" PII 233."

"Great! It works fine on Win98, contrary to your other intel 740 driver, which was of no use. For the (hem) non-nerds around, the way to install it is to go to system / device control / Display and to choose update driver and then point to the right directory."

"Did not work for me! Still loking for a 740 driver and tried almost everything, the chip realy says intel 740 /82740 but nothing works. Intel realy SUCKS!!!"

"Great find for a old Joyteck card with heat sink glued to processor.Had to put the card in a xp machine to find out what chipset it had. Thanks for the driver"
